Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Norfolk, VA. This is a part-time afternoon position working directly with children in home and/or community settings. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism and related developmental needs.
Schedule
Monday – Friday
4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Consistent weekly hours
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients
- Collect and record accurate session data
- Maintain professional communication with parents and supervisors
- Follow behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as written
- Participate in supervision and team meetings
Qualifications
- Active RBT certification (required)
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience working with children with autism preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background check
