Position Overview

Northeast Family Services is seeking a RBT to join our growing team. The RBT will implement clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provide ABA‑based instruction to promote development of new skills, under the direction of a supervising BCBA. Responsibilities include monitoring client behavior, collecting data, reporting to the BCBA, and collaborating with the BCBA and client’s family to support meaningful changes in client behavior.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the BACB – REQUIRED
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience – REQUIRED (working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families, and experience with adolescents requiring comprehensive level care)
  • Availability to work early afternoon hours (e.g., 1:30–4:00) – REQUIRED
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable access to a vehicle
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Experience implementing behavioral interventions in applied settings (preferred)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • A compassionate approach to care
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available
  • Access to a laptop or computer, high‑speed secure internet, and a phone required

Compensation
