Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
We are hiring for a great client in Frankfort, IL. This is an on-site contract opportunity for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who will provide direct behavioral support to students and assist in implementing behavior intervention strategies within a school-based setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one behavioral support to students under the supervision of a BCBA
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and individualized behavior strategies
- Collect and record data on student behavior and progress toward goals
- Support students in developing social, communication, and functional skills
- Assist in managing challenging behaviors using evidence-based ABA techniques
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure consistent behavioral support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and data collection
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for students
- Participate in team meetings and follow guidance from supervising clinicians
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or behavioral needs
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Strong communication, organization, and data collection skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
