About The Job

Mindful Sprouts is hiring for RBT jobs in Delray Beach FL, offering a meaningful opportunity to help children with exceptionalities achieve their goals. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work in homes, schools, and community environments to provide consistent and individualized ABA therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Applied Behavior Analysis intervention to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or related exceptionalities
  • Provide intervention as outlined in the client’s program by the associated BCBA
  • Collect and display data in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Assist in updating client\'s program as instructed by the associated BCBA
  • Implement behavioral procedures for inappropriate/maladaptive child behaviors as instructed or as outlined in the client’s program
  • Maintain records in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Notify management of emergencies or significant incident; suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation; and/or changes in client status in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Arrive to appointments, meetings, trainings, etc. at the scheduled time
  • Return phone calls, electronic mail, and other correspondence in a timely fashion
  • Conduct self in a professional manner and treat all clients, customers, co-workers, and others with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity
  • Follow all clinical and administrative policies and procedures
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Preferred bachelor\'s degree. High School Diploma or working on bachelor’s degree in special education, early childhood education, speech/language disorders, psychology, or related field
  • Satisfactorily completed a minimum 40-hour RBT certification course from an accredited institution
  • 1 year experience working with children
  • Proficient in English. Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese/English) preferred
  • Dependable and passionate about helping children and adolescents
  • Must hold a valid driver\'s license and car insurance. Ability to get to and from appointments
  • Must have successfully passed criminal background screening
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
