Mindful Sprouts is now hiring for RBT jobs, offering an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children with exceptionalities. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you’ll provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home, school, and community environments. In this role, you’ll implement behavior intervention plans developed by a supervising BCBA. Moreover, you’ll deliver direct instruction, collect and document client progress data, and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with families and caregivers. Responsibilities:
- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis intervention to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or related exceptionalities.
- Provide intervention as outlined in the client’s program by the associated BCBA.
- Collect and displaydata in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Assist in updating the client's program as instructed by the associated BCBA.
- Implement behavioral procedures for inappropriate/maladaptive child behaviors as instructed or as outlined in client’s program.
- Maintainrecords in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Adhereto company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Notifymanagement of emergencies or significant incidents; suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation; and/or changes in client status in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Arriveto appointments, meetings, trainings, etc. at the scheduled time.
- Returnphone calls, electronic mail, and other correspondence in a timely fashion.
- Conductself in a professional manner and treats all clients, customers, co-workers, and others with dignity, respect, andculturalsensitivity.
- Followall clinical and administrative policies and procedures.
- Performrelated duties asassigned.
Requirements:
- Preferred bachelor's degree. High School Diploma or working on a bachelor’s degree in special education, early childhood education, speech/language disorders, psychology, or related field.
- Satisfactorily completed a minimum 40-hour RBT certification course from an accredited institution.
- 1 yearexperience working with children.
- Proficientin English. Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese/English) preferred.
- Dependable andpassionate abouthelping children and adolescents.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and car insurance. Ability to get to and from appointments.
- Must have successfully passed criminal background screening.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
