Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Overview

Responsibilities

• Utilize your expertise to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children ranging from 18 months to school age.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized therapy plans.
• Apply creativity and advanced techniques in play-based and naturalistic therapy environments.
• Guide children's progress in educational and social settings, preparing them for successful transitions.
• Document and track each child’s development, contributing to customized therapy programs.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment that embodies Lighthouse’s Core Values: Compassion, Trustworthiness, Courage, and Commitment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.
• All applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent are welcome; a college degree is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift/carry more than 50 lbs and sustain physical activity; running, crouching, squatting, bending, kneeling, and full range of motion of hands and arms; ability to move quickly between positions.
• Communicate expressively and receptively both verbally and in writing.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred.
• Safety is a priority at Lighthouse. You will undergo a background check and drug test at the time of hire.

Salary

$18.00–$21.00 per hour
