Job Overview

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a key role within our organization. As an RBT you will implement individualized programs written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You will help patients learn new skills in areas such as social, communication, vocational, and life skills across multiple settings including the therapy center, home, school, and community.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized ABA programs under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Conduct therapy sessions in the most appropriate setting for the patient (therapy center, home, school, workplace, or other community settings).
  • Assist patients in acquiring social, communication, vocational, and life skills.
  • Attend weekly guidance and additional training from a supervisor.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings for team building, collaboration, and continued learning.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and engage in physical activity such as running, jumping, and reaching.
  • RBT certification required; if not certified at offer, must be obtained within the orientation/training period (salary and costs covered).
  • Strong communication, time‑management, and organizational skills.
  • Patience, kindness, and a passion for helping others.

Physical Demands
