Registered behavior technicians (RBT) work directly with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to assist in meeting treatment goals developed by a behavior analyst and the child's family. RBT's are responsible for implementing interventions designed by a behavior analyst, collecting data on target behaviors and skills in progress and working with other team members on group related skills. RBT's work in collaboration with behavior analyst to provide feedback on the effectiveness of treatment protocols and potential barriers to the success of each child. Based on the current model, RBT's would be working with children and their families at our center with the opportunity to work in home or in community settings if desired.
