Registered Behavior Technician (FT) 26-27
Radnor Township School District Elementary – Wayne, Pennsylvania
Qualifications
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification required (or ability to acquire within 30 days)
- High school diploma required; 2+ years college degree desired
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills
- Experience working with special needs students desired
Requirements
- Use ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) strategies with students.
- Provide direct care to students in a one-on-one or group setting for skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments.
- Collect and record data on student behavior.
- Collaborate, communicate, and assist in implementing positive behavior support plans.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for students.
- Assist in de-escalation of students exhibiting behavior.
- Flexibly respond to building needs in the area of social, emotional and behavioral learning.
- Other duties as assigned.
