Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior - Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
  • Support clients in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills
  • Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Experience:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention plans effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with individuals with special needs
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Responsible, reliable and respectful
  • Enjoy working with children
