Assist in the reduction of claim denials by keeping abreast of payer rules/regulations and the facility's software capabilities. Improve timeliness of claim submissions and billing follow up to gain maximum reimbursement and reduced days in accounts receivable. Identify and report potential receivables and/or compliance issues to both the manager of central business office and corporate director of business services.QualificationsAssociates degree in business administration/management and/or 5 -10 years facility billing and third party payer follow up experience required.
