Regional Sales Manager - Plastic Building Products

Well established and growing plastics / building products company has an exciting opportunity available for a Western Regional Sales Manager. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the Western USA. Position Overview:

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Location:

• Candidate must reside in the Western region of the United States

• Preference for candidates located near a major airport due to travel requirements

Industry Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in the polycarbonate, plastics, building products, architectural glazing, or related industries

• Experience with polycarbonate, thermoplastics, or plastic products is highly preferred

• Experience managing distributor networks and OEM accounts is preferred

Technical & Commercial Skills:

• Strong understanding of pricing, margins, forecasting, and territory management

• Ability to read and understand technical product information and specifications

• Experience handling customer negotiations, quotations, and project follow-up

• Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and grow existing accounts

Software & Administrative Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools preferred

• Ability to prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market analysis

Communication & Leadership:

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Professional customer-facing presence

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently within a remote territory

• Strong organizational and time management skills

Travel Requirements:

• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Eastern U.S.

• Ability to attend trade shows, customer visits, and distributor meetings as needed

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Existing relationships within the plastics, extrusion, extruded products, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, construction, architectural, or industrial distribution markets preferred,
