Managing Consultant – Building GTM teams for Venture-Backed Technology Start-Ups.

Our client, an emerging AI security start-up at the forefront of non-human identity protection and threat detection , is seeking a Regional Sales Director to drive enterprise expansion across the U.S. market. This is a key opportunity for a seasoned enterprise sales leader with strong GTM execution experience and a passion for scaling early-stage security technologies that are redefining identity and access management in the AI space.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and expand enterprise sales within the U.S., driving revenue growth and market penetration across key regions.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, leading full-cycle enterprise sales efforts from prospecting through close.
- Consistently meet and exceed ARR and sales performance targets in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to refine and execute the company’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy across targeted verticals.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and solution capabilities.
- Represent the company’s AI-driven security platform to CISOs, security leaders, and enterprise decision-makers, articulating business value and technical differentiation.
- Serve as a strategic voice from the field, providing market feedback and insights to influence product and GTM direction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in cybersecurity, identity security, or threat detection technologies.
- 3+ years of experience in early-stage or high-growth start-ups , with direct responsibility for building and scaling new territories.
- Proven record of hunting and closing complex enterprise deals , consistently overachieving against quota.
- Strong understanding of GTM strategy and execution , with success introducing emerging security technologies to enterprise buyers.
- Familiarity with AI Agents, non-human identity management, and SOC ecosystems strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with C-level and technical stakeholders.
- U.S.-based, remote role with travel as needed to customers, events, and company meetings.
