About this Role
The Regional Manageroversees multiplerelayprotectionand apparatusacross an assigned area.This position ensures safe, high-quality, and timely delivery of all projects while maintaining compliance with labor agreements, corporate standards, and customer expectations.
What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership
- Direct and support multiple crewsworking closely with Superintendents,Technicians, and Project Managers across the assigned area.
- Help implement andexecute onthe strategic planfor your area, aligned with the company's goals andobjectives.
- Identifygrowth opportunities within the region andwork with yourRegional Vice Presidenttocapitalizeon them.
- Report out to and collaborate withyourDirectorand/orRegional Vice Presidentto ensure operational efficiency, profitability, and quality in all aspects of the business.
- Provide leadership and directionto all employees within your area, fostering a culture of collaboration,accountability,innovation, and continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams across thecompany.
Operational Management
- Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to safety, productivity, and quality standards.
- Allocatemanpowerand equipment resources to meet project schedules efficiently and cost effectively.
- Work closely with the Safety department to ensure that all required and recommended Safety training iscompleted,crew observations are completed, and that all Safety initiatives are carried out.Foster a culture of safety by promoting and enforcing safety policies and practices to protect employees, customers, and the public.
- Work closely with the Fleet departmentto ensure that the right mix of equipment is available and used in the most effective andcost-efficientmanner.
- Work closely with theCommercial Operationsdepartment during the pre-bid and bid process to ensure that projectsmeet the schedules, needs, and available resources of your area.
- Work closely with Project Management to develop work plans and review the overall performance of the project.
- Monitor project progress,identifypotential risks, andsuggestmitigation strategies toyour Regional Vice President and other members of managementensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Develop andmaintainstrong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and industry partners to ensure customer satisfaction and support business development initiatives. client satisfaction.
Labor Relations & Compliance:
- Serve as the primary liaison with union representatives; interpret and enforce collective bargaining agreements.
- Work with Safety, Human Resources, and other departments to ensurecompliance with labor, safety, and environmental regulations.
Team Leadership and Development
- Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to team members to foster their growth and career advancement.
- Where applicable, provide leadership and guidance for the regional office staff.
Financial Management
- Provide input toyourDirectorand/orRegional Vice Presidentto developthe budgetfor your area. Monitor financial performanceandsuggestcost control measures.
What You'll Bring
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Experienceworking in therelay, protection, andappartusconstruction and maintenance fieldand/or aBachelor's degree inConstruction Management, Engineering,BusinessAdministration, ora relatedfield.
- Proventrack recordof leadership in the construction industry, with a minimum of5years of experience in management roles.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Strongleadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex construction projects.
- Solidanalytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strongcommunicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and other relevant tools.

WORKINGENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: This position will work in a normal officesetting,butwill berequiredto travel to and visit work sites.Travel will includelong periodsof time spent driving and/or riding. Visits to work sites will require extended periods of time standing, walking across potentially rough terrain and occasional bending, stooping, squatting, reaching,andclimbingin outdoor weather conditions.
