Regional Manager
As a Regional Manager, you will manage an assigned portfolio of residential communities, making decisions to maximize income and minimize expenses while achieving overall objectives of the communities in your region.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial budgeting, reporting, marketing, leasing, and operations for all apartment communities in the portfolio.
- Hire, train, mentor, and lead on‑site professionals; recruit, develop, and manage a high‑quality on‑site team.
- Plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance; address conflicts and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures across all properties.
- Represent the company professionally to clients, residents, vendors, and employees.
- Assist with budget preparation, monitor monthly variances, and provide written evaluations of significant over‑budget items.
- Provide capital improvement suggestions, approve invoices for payment, and ensure timely processing with accounting.
- Handle multiple projects and tasks while maintaining confidentiality and composure under stress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a regional manager in residential property management with supervisory/management experience.
- CPM designation is a plus but not required.
- College degree desired.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance coverage.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

- Ability to calculate figures related to real estate.
- Knowledge of internet, email, and social media for community marketing.
- Familiarity with property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, ResMan, etc.).
- Understanding of business practices and principles.
- Capability to handle multiple projects and tasks and cope with stress.
- Respect for confidentiality and timely, accurate responses to clients and upper management.
