Regional Operations Manager – Multifamily

We are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee a multi-site multifamily portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven property management leader who understands both the operational and financial sides of the business and enjoys working directly with onsite teams to drive performance.

Regional Operations Manager Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and performance across multiple apartment communities
• Lead, support, and develop onsite property management teams
• Monitor property financial performance, budgets, NOI, expenses, and overall operational results
• Conduct regular property visits, inspections, and performance reviewsIdentify opportunities to improve occupancy, operations, resident satisfaction, and profitability
• Partner with leadership on portfolio goals, initiatives, and property strategies
• Ensure company policies, operational standards, and best practices are consistently followed
• Travel regularly throughout the assigned portfolio, up to 50%

Regional Operations Manager Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-site property management experience required
• Proven experience overseeing 1,000+ units and/or 5+ separate assets
• Strong multifamily operations and leadership background
• Solid financial acumen with an understanding of NOI, ROI, cap rates, budgets, and general ledger accounting
• Experience with Entrata, Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio, or similar property management software
• Strong Excel and reporting skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field strongly preferred
• CPM, CAPS, or other industry certifications highly desirable
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
