You’ll

  • Oversee and direct all aspects of the practice’s clinical operations, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and utilizing best practices and continuous improvement processes to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor and assure compliance with Quality Assurance Programs.
  • Work with the Contracting Manager and medical groups to develop business relationships.
  • Promote and support the company’s vision, mission, and values.
  • Achieve targeted volumes for the business unit.
  • Manage team members and business operations to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Remain informed and anticipate potential pitfalls within the operation, communicating and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare operating budgets and analyze performance against those budgets.
  • Utilize team members effectively, ensuring appropriate levels of productivity.
  • Manage costs and expenses appropriately.
  • Oversee financial management of the business unit.
  • Develop strategies to achieve individual and business unit goals.
  • Recommend or pursue new business opportunities.
  • Train new managers.
  • Work to increase retention and reduce avoidable turnover.
  • Maintain employee morale and satisfaction at levels conducive to high productivity.
  • Set clear and specific expectations and objectives for employees and departments.
  • Approve employee performance evaluations during review periods.
  • Ensure that all performance evaluations are completed, conducted, and submitted on time.
  • Recognize and provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as appropriate.
  • Provide team members with support and motivation.
  • Exhibit objectivity and openness to others’ views.
  • Demonstrate balance between team and individual responsibilities.
  • Promote flexibility in staff utilization across teams and departments.
  • Delegate work appropriately and follow through to ensure optimal results.
  • Provide team members with development opportunities as appropriate.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

  • Understand how external forces in the healthcare industry affect operations and revenues.
  • Exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision‑making to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Communicate effectively through verbal and written channels.
  • Share information effectively and provide appropriate direction to team members.
  • Delegate responsibility and authority to team members.
  • Maintain proactive relationships with referring physicians.
  • Know state and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Know how to develop budgets, general computer skills, and Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills in interactions with staff and peers in senior management.
  • Maintain a “team” mentality within Clinical Operations and as a member of senior management.
  • Hold a four‑year degree in business administration or health‑care administration (required).
  • Have six or more years of experience in the radiology service industry and management experience (preferred).
  • Understand contracting and have experience working with medical groups (required).

Pay Range

$100,000 – $120,000 per year
