Regional Maintenance ManagerCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.In this position the RMM is expected to:Develop, manage and monitor a substantial preventive maintenance reliability program that will drive downtime to zeroWork with innovative technologies to include sortation, conveyance, and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE)Have the ability to develop a high-performance team of managers and individual contributors, and have strong technical problem-solving ability, excellent project management skills, and an internal motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced, and often ambiguous environmentBe supportive in developing talent within your teams to expand their careers through formalized training via conferences, workshops, and mentoringDevelop a capital and expense plan for each building to reduce the cost of ownershipEssential Job Functions:Program Management:Providing oversight for budget development and execution, and capital planningManaging vendor support and equipment relationships and leverage Family Dollar's network size to maximize economies of scaleDeveloping and managing budget and contract documents including Request for Proposals (RFPs), change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicingLeading, mentoring and managing DC based Facilities Managers in the expansion and continuous improvement of Dollar Tree's distribution NetworkRecruiting, interviewing, and hiring bar raising talent in the Facilities teamAudit, Report and Record:Managing a maintenance DC teams and assets though a EAM or CMMS applicationMonitoring, auditing and enforcing maintenance execution and safe work practice.Driving Maintenance Best Practices including the following: Innovating, documenting, improving work methods, standardizing, providing a safe work environment and requiring safe work practices, training, commissioning equipment, collecting, measuring, and analyzing key performance indicators to improve processes and improve Family Dollar customers' experienceLeveraging the entire maintenance team for the benefit of the Family Dollar networkProviding Distribution Center Directors with visibility over facilities manager responsibilities so that they can better understand, lead, mentor, and manage Facility ManagersOther duties as assignedQualifications/Basic Job Requirements:Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment) OR 3 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)PLC/PC program knowledge and troubleshooting experienceIndustrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systemsAdvanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial controls devices/networkingAbility to communicate clearly and effectively, relating technical issues to business leadershipTeam Member will perform shift work and must be willing to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.Customer service orientedBasic QualificationsBachelor Degree or 2+ years Facilities Management experiencePrevious corporate and/or regional facilities roles leading multiple sites and managing managersAt least 7 years of experience managing employees and their performanceAt least 7 years of experience in material handling equipment and large, complex integrated systems maintenance with strong statistical analysis skillsAt least 10 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenanceAbility to travel up to 85% including weekend travel.Preferred QualificationsCMRP, CMRT, CRP, FMP, CFM, SFP, MRC, Reliability Engineer certificatesExperience in robotics and emerging technologiesExperience in driving 100% uptimeExperience leading change in a remote environmentProjected Salary Range: $112,000-$125,000Family Dollar is an equal opportunity employer and committed to recruiting, hiring, training, and promoting qualified people of all backgrounds, and makes all employment decisions without regard to any protected status.
