Join a centralized staffing team as a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse (RN), providing high-quality, patient-centered emergency care across multiple hospitals in Missouri and Illinois (excluding children's hospitals).

You will work three 12-hour night shifts with flexible start times, supporting 11 hospitals, and rotating weekends and holidays. This role offers system-wide exposure, professional growth, and a supportive environment grounded in collaboration and connection.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct nursing care in emergency departments, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and intervention.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practice and nursing standards to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
  • Promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while participating in ongoing professional development.
  • Mentoring colleagues and fostering a healthy work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years ED RN experience; trauma and float experience preferred.
  • Current RN license in Missouri and ability to obtain Illinois license.
  • Willingness to travel between facilities in MO and IL.
  • Strong adaptability, confidence in nursing practice, and excellent communication skills.
  • Education: ADN, BSN, or MSN; TNCC certification preferred.
