Join a Central Staffing Office as a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care across 11 hospitals in Missouri and Illinois (excluding children’s hospitals).
Responsibilities
- Float across 12 hospitals practicing exclusively in ED settings
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, care planning, and implementation based on nursing expertise
- Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
- Apply evidence-based practices and advocate for optimal patient outcomes
- Use leadership skills to mentor colleagues and foster a supportive work environment
- Engage in professional development and ensure culturally sensitive, ethical, and compassionate care
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years ED RN experience (trauma and float experience preferred)
- Current Missouri RN license; ability to obtain Illinois RN license
- Willingness to travel between facilities in MO & IL
- Strong adaptability and confidence in nursing practice
- ADN, BSN, or MSN; TNCC certification preferred
- BLS certification required
