Regional Director, Oncology - SoCal

Regional Director, Sales (Oncology) — SoCal (Greater Los Angeles to San Diego)

Responsibilities:

• Represent Gilead products/services to a defined customer base; generate and grow a sales team to consistently achieve/exceed regional sales targets.
• Lead in-person customer engagement and training Specialists to deliver disease awareness, clinical updates, and healthcare practice changes.
• Maintain key relationships with executives/decision-makers at major medical centers, clinics, and other accounts.
• Track and reinforce regional sales-force effectiveness and corporate sales objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with National Accounts, Marketing, Medical Scientists, and other teams.
• Provide coaching/counseling, recruit/hire/manage specialists, and develop learning plans.
• Lead professional event representation and promote products.
• Use market data to guide team execution; demonstrate scientific/technical understanding and compliance with promotion regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• High school + 16 years; or Associate + 14; or Bachelor + 12; or Master + 10; or Ph.D. + 8.
• Ability to travel regularly within assigned area; meet onsite visitation requirements (e.g., screenings/vaccinations where required).
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 12+ years relevant commercial experience; 8+ years progressive oncology experience; 4 years oncology leadership as District Manager (incl. product launches).
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking, project management, interpersonal/influencing, and oral/written communication skills.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Salary range: $205,615–$266,090. May include discretionary bonus, long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life.
