Financial And Casino Accounting ManagerResponsibilities:Manage the Financial and Casino accounting functionsResponsible for accurate preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each propertyResponsible for preparing and reviewing corporate accounting reporting packagesEnsure that financial records are accurate and maintained up to dateMaintain internal controls, including adherence to SOX internal controlsOversees treasury responsibilities including reviewing and approving all wire/ACH paymentsResponsible for departmental P&L reviewsResponsible for preparation of the annual budgetResponsible for preparation of reforecasts and longer-term forecasts, as neededResponsible for financial analysis, as warrantedResponsible for all federal and state tax reporting and withholdings and related filingsResponsible for ensuring proper capital expenditure approval and for cost tracking and reporting and disposition of assetsResponsible for capital expenditure reporting to Rhode Island LotteryInteracts with Information Technology to ensure that financial systems operate at maximum efficiencyMaintains effective working relationships with both internal and external contactsImplements best practices to streamline and automate accounting flowsLead an organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policiesIdentify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risksChampion, within the organization, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and responsible corporate behaviorCreate a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconductManages flow of information to/from the Rhode Island LotteryManages internal and external audit requestsWork Environment: Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changesPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.Target Salary Range: ($150,000)Qualifications:Experience:Must secure appropriate RI mandated gaming licensesSupervisory Responsibility: Financial Controller Casino Controller FP&A staffBachelor's degree in accounting, Economics or Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred.Six or more years accounting and financial analysis experience in a management capacity.Broad knowledge of hospitality industry internal and accounting controls, policies and procedures and regulatory requirementsThorough understanding of profit and loss statementsStrong communication and supervisory skillsStrong analytical and organizational skillsProven ability to direct and motivate employeesAbility to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated businessLicenses & Certifications:RI Lottery License KEYEqual Opportunity Employer
