Responsibilities
- Responsible for security for all SBD facilities within the North Central Region, including office spaces, manufacturing sites, warehouse space, and service centers
- Assess each site for compliance with minimum security standards and make recommendations to site leadership
- Report to the Senior Security Director, North America
- Work with site leadership, Asset Protection professionals, local law enforcement, and outside consultants
- Provide supervision to site-level Security personnel
- Support and provide leadership and guidance in crisis situations
- Ensure each SBD facility within the region meets minimum security standards
- Determine and implement needed security upgrades or improvements with site leadership and resources
- Manage proprietary Security & Safety Services personnel
- Train SBD personnel on security and safety-related topics
- Oversee security and safety-related projects and planning at assigned locations
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in Criminal Justice / Loss Prevention / Security (strongly preferred) or currently working towards a related degree
- Tactical Law Enforcement experience is strongly preferred
- Physical fitness is essential
- Proficiency in martial arts and/or other defensive skills is desirable
- CPR / AED / First Aid Training
- Strategic thinking to identify and minimize exposure to global emerging trends and threats
- Strong leadership skills, including effective oral and written communication, issue resolution, negotiation, motivating others, collaboration, teamwork, handling obstacles, and partnering with senior management
- Microsoft Office computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, drug screen, and psychological screening process is required
- Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Valid driver's license and clean driving history if driving a company-owned vehicle
- Ability to travel, work non-business hours, and potentially weekends
