What You'll Do
- Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer hauling refrigerated food products, including lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and salads
- Regional routes (OH to NC, PA, NJ, MD, VA, NY, MI, KY, GA, WI, and IL as needed)
- Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance
- Unload freight at customer locations and assist with loading activities at shipping locations when required
- Handle touch-freight deliveries involving products weighing up to 65 lbs
- Operate forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move freight safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and required DOT documentation
Driving Requirements
- 22+ years of age
- Valid CDL-A license
- DOT Medical Card
- FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
- 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
- No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
- No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
