Job Details
Our client has a regional CDL A Driver position in Harrisonburg, VA, paying $30 per hour. You will operate a sleeper unit with a reefer trailer on multi-stop food product routes across multiple states. This TransForce driving opportunity offers support from a dedicated TransForce team.
This role requires experience operating Class A equipment with 53-foot reefer trailers and handling food product pickups and deliveries.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $30 per hour + OT after 40 hours
- Days may vary
- Start times typically fall between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
- Most routes include 2 to 3 nights away from home, with longer layovers possible based on distance and backhaul availability.
- Regional routes based in Harrisonburg, VA.
What You'll Be Doing
- Drive a sleeper unit with a 53-foot reefer trailer on regional, multi-stop routes.
- Pick up and deliver chicken and other food products from warehouses and distribution centers.
- Make deliveries in states including Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Texas, and Florida.
- Handle no-touch freight.
What You Need
- Valid CDL A
- 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
- Experience operating Class A equipment with 53-foot reefer trailers.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
