Aurality, Inc. | Remote (territory-based) | Full-time | Extensive travel
Aurality is a Herndon, Virginia–based medical device company changing how ear impressions are captured. Our flagship product, the Empress3D, is a handheld scanner that creates a direct in-ear 3D scan. It replaces traditional silicone impressions with a faster, cleaner, more accurate digital workflow for audiologists, hearing care professionals, and the manufacturers they work with. We’re a lean, fast-moving team, and every hire has a direct impact on our growth.
We’re looking for a driven, self-starting hunter to own a territory covering either the Eastern or Western United States. You’ll build and close a pipeline of new business across a mix of direct sales and channel partners, introducing a new category of capital equipment to the audiology market. This role is for someone who thrives on opening doors, working independently, and turning early-stage interest into signed deals.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business with audiology practices, hearing aid dispensers, ENT clinics, and multi-site hearing care groups in your territory.
- Manage and grow channel partner relationships, including distributors and industry partners, to extend Aurality’s reach.
- Run the full sales cycle for a capital equipment purchase: discovery, product demonstrations, ROI conversations, proposals, negotiation, and close.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline, and forecast accurately in our CRM.
- Represent Aurality at trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
- Work closely with leadership, clinical, and product teams to relay customer feedback and support successful adoption after the sale.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- A proven track record in capital equipment sales, ideally in medical devices.
- A hunter mentality: you generate your own opportunities and are energized by new-logo selling.
- Experience managing both direct sales and channel or distributor relationships.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Self-motivation and discipline to work independently in a remote, territory-based role.
- Willingness to travel extensively within your territory and to national events.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Sales or clinical field experience in audiology or hearing care.
- Existing relationships with audiology practices, hearing aid manufacturers, or hearing care networks in your territory.
- Experience introducing new or disruptive technology to a clinical market.
- Competitive salary and incentive compensation package.
- Health benefits.
- The chance to shape how a new technology reaches the audiology market, with direct access to company leadership.
