Regional Accounting Representative

Regional Accounting RepresentativeLocation: Grand Rapids, MIKamps is seeking a Regional Accounting Representative. The position would handle transactions for several of our Kamps' locations or with several National Sales Accounts. Attention to detail & ability to multi task is essential for this position.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Review and post customer invoices for assigned regionReview and post daily vendor invoices that are entered remotely by the plantPost purchase from our internal receiving system on daily, weekly, and monthly basis depending on the customer/supplierWork with customers, plants, and sales representatives to resolve billing issues and issue credit memos as neededRespond to customer/regional inquiries and research as necessaryReview new customer forms that are sent in by the sales representative and sending those forms to the necessary departmentsAchieve deadlines for daily tasks and month end.Prepare monthly reports as neededThis person will be independent and self-directed after mastering tasks that are requiredThis list of duties is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that senior management may deem necessary.Skills and Qualifications:Two years of experience in accounting or administrationStrong organizational skillsAble to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office, experience in Microsoft Great Plains is a plus
