Position Summary

The Registered Vascular and Cardiac Sonographer functions as a healthcare provider who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physicians, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Vascular/Cardiac Sonographer role and responsibilities include providing diagnostic medical sonography services and its various clinical specialties. The Vascular/Cardiac Sonographer activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures and applicable professional standards.

Position Qualifications

• Minimum Education
  • Graduate of school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or hold RVT and RDCS Certification.
• Minimum Experience
  • Vascular and cardiac experience
• Required Registration/License/Certification
  • RVT and/or RDCS certified or eligible and BLS certified upon hire
• Preferred Education
  • Graduate of school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Preferred Experience
  • 1 year vascular and/or cardiac experience
• Preferred Registration/License/Certification
  • RVT RDCS and BLS
• Business Hours. Monday-Friday. No Holiday, No weekend.
