Regulatory Compliance Officer – Strategic PartnershipsA Regulatory Compliance Officer – Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for the compliance oversight of certain Strategic Partnership programs. Primarily, this position will ensure that the Bank's partners maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary compliance expert and contact for assigned external partnership programs.Conduct on-site reviews of partners. Travel required as needed, up to 25% of time, usually 2-4 consecutive days per trip.Aid in the execution and refinement of compliance monitoring programs to test the compliance controls and procedures of partners.Evaluate, adjust and oversee a partner's Compliance Management System to ensure full compliance with regulatory guidelines and Bank standardsExecute the Bank's second line of defense of a partner's CMS (Risk Assessment, Monitoring & Testing, Issue Management, Complaints, etc.)Report to Executive Management, through reports and verbal presentations, of key developments related to a partner about regulatory compliance and determine the impact of those developments to the BankEnsure that existing and proposed partner's business practices, policies, procedures, loan pricing, origination software systems, marketing materials, customer correspondence, documents and disclosures comply with federal and state regulationsStay abreast of all federal and state regulatory changes related to consumer protection and privacy and ensure those changes are communicated to and addressed by Bank management and partnersAssist and oversee the response and resolution of internal and external audit findingsOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree strongly preferred8-10 years of banking experienceMinimum 5 years banking regulatory compliance experienceExperience in both federal and state laws and requirementsCRCM Certification strongly preferredDirect experience dealing with regulatory bodies is preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities RequirementsIn depth knowledge of bank regulations, requirements, and application of those regulationsEstablishes effective working relationships among team membersExcellent ability to analyze and interpret legal and statutory materials as well as state and federal regulationsObtain and maintain proficient knowledge of bank products, services, policies and proceduresSound decision making, strong self-confidence and good judgement is requiredAble to work independentlyStrong attention to detail and effective written and oral communication skills are requiredStrong computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment (Excel, Word and Outlook)TAB Bank Offers:Onsite GymTuition ReimbursementPaid HolidaysGym ReimbursementCollege Scholarships for Employees and Families401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)I Made the GradeHoliday Club ProgramMedical, Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D, Voluntary Disability, Flex Spending & Dependent CareTAB Bank will not sponsor applicants for work visas.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
