Refrigeration OperatorIt's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Summary: The Refrigeration Operator uses their hands-on knowledge of ammonia refrigeration and experience working with industrial refrigeration components to accomplish preventative and predictive maintenance tasks of the refrigeration department of the assigned facility. Assist with boiler and steam system maintenance.Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration equipment, such as compressors, ammonia pumps condensing towers, etc.Full understanding of the refrigeration cyclePerform preventative and predictive maintenance and assigned work ordersPerform troubleshooting activities, as necessary.Performs quality checks as required by position and/or product at assigned facilityDemonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures, and governing requirements.Performs other related duties as assigned.Supervisory responsibilitiesThis position will not have supervisory responsibility.Education and/or experienceRequired High school or equivalent AND 5+ years of experience in Refrigeration, Maintenance, or similar skill setRefrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association (RETA) membership w/Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO) or ability to obtain.Ammonia Refrigeration (2 stage system)Able to pass and maintain state High Pressure Steam Boiler LicenseProcess Safety Management (PSM) understandingValid Driver's License with clean driving recordSpeak, read & write fluently in EnglishPreferred Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) certificationExcellent mechanical aptitude with ability to handle multiple projects at one timeGeorge's is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
