Refrigeration Application Engineer

Job Description

A retail employer in the Cincinnati area is seeking a Refrigeration Application Engineer to lead the development of mechanical refrigeration plans that go beyond drafting-integrating engineering judgment, equipment selection, and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for selecting and sizing refrigeration equipment, creating detailed AutoCAD drawing sets, and adapting OEM components into cohesive system designs. The engineer will ensure compliance with EPA regulations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, efficient, and scalable refrigeration solutions.

Skills and Requirements

1-3 years of engineering experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Civil, or Construction Engineering.

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D

Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

General understanding of mechanical planning principles, in-store work methods, maintenance, and construction practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Refrigeration Experience
