The engineer must have a strong background in container orchestration, platform management, and cloud-native applications, with hands-on experience in managing and deploying applications on OpenShift clusters.Primary Duties:Deploy, manage and scale Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters – 25%Configure, manage and monitor containerized applications running on Kubernetes or OpenShift – 20%Automate cluster provisioning, configuration and deployment pipelines using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Helm – 25%Integrate Kubernetes/OpenShift with CICD deployment tools like Jenkins, Maven, GitHub – 15%Document and troubleshoot issues with containerized applications – 15%Required Skills/Level of Experience:Managing and administering OpenShift clusters – 5 yearsProficiency in scripting languages (KSH, Bash, Python) – 4 yearsProficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) – 4 yearsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven) – 4 yearsIn-depth knowledge of networking in containerized environments, load balancing, network policies, and ingress/egress traffic – 4 yearsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex problems – 5 yearsPreferred Skills:Red Hat OpenShift certification or Kubernetes certification
