Project Associate – I

Title: Identification and characterisation of conserved microRNAs and target genes that regulate ageing in Drosophila.

Funding Agency: MoE-STARS.

Position: Contract basis.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in biological sciences from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent (as prescribed by the funding agency).
• Minimum 1 year experience working on microRNAs, circadian rhythm and Drosophila genetics.

Contract Details

• Fellowship amount INR 25,000 (+ HRA).
• Tenure of the post: Up to 31st March, 2026.
• Age: Preferably below 35 years.
• Number of posts: 01.
