Recruitment Coordinator – Financial Services
Location: Midtown Manhattan
Schedule: Onsite Monday–Friday
Compensation: ~$75-100K annually (inclusive of compensated OT)
Citadel, a leading global financial services firm, is seeking a polished, highly organized Recruitment Coordinator to join their growing talent acquisition team in New York City.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with experience in recruiting, HR, client service, operations, executive search, or another fast-paced corporate environment who is interested in building a career within talent acquisition.
The Recruitment Coordinator will partner closely with internal recruiters and business stakeholders to support a high-volume, fast-moving recruiting process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable juggling competing priorities, and able to communicate professionally with candidates and senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate complex virtual and onsite interview schedules across multiple candidates, recruiters, and business teams.
- Serve as a key point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process and help deliver a high-touch candidate experience.
- Partner closely with recruiters to manage candidate pipelines and keep recruiting processes moving efficiently.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to collect interview feedback and coordinate next steps.
- Maintain accurate candidate information and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
- Prepare offer-related documentation and support candidate communication throughout the offer and onboarding process.
- Assist with recruiting events, internship programs, interview days, and other talent initiatives.
- Support recruiting projects including candidate tracking, process documentation, reporting, surveys, and team initiatives.
- Process recruiting-related expenses and invoices as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and team efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong academic performance preferred.
- Approximately 1–3 years of professional experience preferred.
- Experience within recruiting, HR, executive search, client service, operations, financial services, professional services, or a similarly fast-paced environment is highly valued.
- Internship experience may be considered alongside relevant professional experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong judgment and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
