The therapist will administer ionizing radiation used in cancer treatment and must demonstrate strong clinical knowledge across radiation oncology disciplines including radiobiology, treatment planning, radiation physics, safety, and patient care. This role supports comprehensive technologies including TrueBeam, HDR/LDR brachytherapy, SBRT, SRS, The Client CT, and Vision RT, and advanced imaging systems, offering a unique opportunity to practice at a state-of-the-art cancer center.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Treatment DeliveryAdminister ionizing radiation treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions and treatment plans.Interpret and deliver treatments per protocols and established radiation oncology standards.Conduct patient setup, positioning, immobilization, and verification imaging.Technical & OperationalPerform treatment simulations; experience with Treatment Simulation strongly preferred.Operate modern radiation therapy systems including: TrueBeam Linear Accelerator, Electron & Photon external beam therapy, HDR & LDR brachytherapy, Orthovoltage / superficial treatments, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), SBRT, The Client CT planning, and utilize imaging and EMR systems; Mosaiq experience highly preferred.Ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines and regulatory standards.Patient Care & Clinical CollaborationProvide compassionate, patient-centered care with sensitivity to psychosocial aspects of cancer.Communicate effectively with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, and nursing teams.Required QualificationsSuccessful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.Certification as R.T.(T) and ongoing maintenance of credential.Working knowledge of radiation safety, physics, oncology, and treatment procedures.Preferred Qualifications2+ years of Radiation Oncology experience (strongly preferred).Experience with Treatment Simulation.Experience delivering Breath Hold, SRS, SBRT, Superficial, and HDR treatments.Experience with Mosaiq EMR.Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
