Technical Sourcer | Aerospace & Defense

Location: Longmont, CO

Work Model: Fully Onsite, 5 Days/Week

Contract: 12 Months with potential for early conversion

Pay: $38-$50/hour

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Sourcer to join a growing talent acquisition team supporting a cutting-edge organization within the aerospace and defense industry.

This company develops advanced high-power directed energy laser systems supporting military and defense applications. The Sourcer will play a key role in identifying and engaging highly specialized talent across engineering, technical, product, and functional teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the hunt for hard-to-find talent, understands technical recruiting, and wants to work closely with recruiters and hiring leaders in a highly specialized defense environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand current and upcoming hiring needs.
• Develop sourcing strategies for specialized aerospace, defense, engineering, product, and technical positions.
• Proactively identify and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, employee referrals, and additional sourcing channels.
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for both immediate openings and future hiring needs.
• Create personalized outreach campaigns designed to generate interest from difficult-to-reach technical talent.
• Conduct initial candidate screens to evaluate qualifications, relevant experience, career interests, and overall alignment.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity within the company's applicant tracking system.
• Track sourcing metrics and use data to evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies and outreach approaches.
• Monitor talent-market trends, competitor hiring activity, and candidate availability to improve sourcing strategies.
• Provide candidates with a professional and positive experience throughout the sourcing and initial screening process.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field.
• 4+ years of professional recruiting and/or sourcing experience.
• Previous experience sourcing for aerospace, defense, engineering, or highly technical positions.
• Strong hands-on experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Experience building targeted talent pipelines for specialized or difficult-to-fill positions.
• Ability to partner effectively with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to create personalized candidate outreach.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
• Comfortable tracking sourcing activity and using recruiting data to adjust sourcing strategies.
