Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
- Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30‑minute client well‑being checks.
- Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor.
- Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and recordkeeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Maintains a professional and therapeutic approach when interacting with clients.
- Participates with staff to implement program objectives and philosophy.
- Facilitates and documents daily groups.
- Attends supervision, trainings and meetings as required.
- Obtains/assesses vital signs (Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Respirations, Temperatures).
- Other duties as instructed by supervisor or as needed.
Experience and Skills
- High school diploma or higher educational level or general education degree (GED).
- Experience working with substance use population is preferred.
- Ability to display initiative, responsibility, accountability, and professionalism.
- Demonstrates commitment working with an addicted population, enjoys working as part of a treatment team.
Hourly Wage Range: $20-22
