Job Summary

A Recovery Specialist provides basic supervision and assistance to clients of a residential substance abuse program. (2nd Shift 4:00pm-12:00am)

Essential Functions

• Supervises clients during shift. This includes bed checks, meal supervision, taking vitals, observing self-administration of meds, and supervising passes and visitors.
• Provides assistance to office support staff by copying forms, filing, and recombining charts that are ready for termination as necessary.
• Leads “pass” process group on Sunday or other support type groups and documents on each client.
• Facilitates community building exercises and orientation groups. Handles the logistics of patient arrival and departure. Manages follow up appointments.
• Transports clients to and from CFC, recreational outings and doctor appointments. Monitors and documents client behaviors. Attends and helps document Family Educational groups.
• Fosters collaborative working relationships among members of the leadership and management teams and programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED
• Must possess valid driver’s license
