Personal Injury law firms will hire companies (like us!) to call medical providers to receive medical records and bills on their behalf.
As a Records Specialist, you’ll spend your day making calls, sending emails, and working with medical providers to gather records. You’ll have a structured daily workflow with a set of tasks to complete. We strive to foster professional and personal growth within our team. In this role, you’ll gain exposure to the legal and healthcare industries and build your organization, task management, and professional communication skills.
The Breakdown
- Interact with case managers and providers via phone, email, and chat (entry-level computer work)
- Work through a group of assigned records requests each day
- Effectively retrieve medical records and bills for law firms
- Ensure special authorizations are completed
- Track the progress of requests in our system
- Interact with providers with enthusiasm to accomplish daily goals
- Build genuine relationships with providers and coworkers
- Stay organized and professional while handling a steady flow of work
- Think critically through unexpected problems
- Perform other duties as assigned
Pay & Schedule
- $15-$17/hour starting rate (based on qualifications)
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
- No nights or weekends

What We’re Looking for
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable speaking on the phone regularly
- Reliable and willing to learn
- High School Diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
- Experience prolonged sitting, standing or bending.
- Ability to interact with standard office technology (e.g., keyboard, computer, headset, mouse) with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- On-site attendance.
