Record Services Specialist, Note Endorsement

Job DescriptionPOSITION TITLE: Specialist, Note EndorsementJoin a team where your expertise in document review and problem-solving directly contributes to the successful management of loan transactions. In this role, you'll analyze promissory note endorsement chains, identify and implement necessary curative actions, and ensure compliance with company standards. You'll serve as a trusted resource for both internal and external customers, delivering outstanding service while helping drive operational excellence and accuracy across the organization.Job Functions and Responsibilities:Processes promissory notes by reviewing chain of title, executing internal allonges (extensions) or requesting from outside third parties, and shipping to proper party when requested. Follows up as needed for pending documents.Ship original documents to Onity firms or vendors as requestedResponds to internal and external requests received via the team mailboxesCompletes special projects and other duties as assignedCross trains to assist with additional job functions in the division during periods of peak volumes or deadlinesMinimum Qualifications:One-year mortgage servicing or related experienceWorking knowledge of the Promissory Note and other mortgage documents Preferred.Strong communication skillsMust have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesMust have good decision-making skills and ability to research & show initiative in solving problemsMust possess strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple & changing prioritiesMust have ability to work in and promote a team environmentPC Experience – Microsoft Word & Excel requiredEffective time management to balance day to day tasks against short and long-term project deliverablesPrior knowledge of residential mortgage servicing, related loan documents and Agency guidelines.Preferred Qualifications:Prior knowledge of residential mortgage servicing, related loan documents and Agency guidelines.Conditions of Work:Long periods sitting in front of a computer screenLifting banker's boxes with an average weight of 35 poundsAbout UsOnity Group Inc.
