Kelly Services Inventory Worker / Record Center SpecialistThe Record Center Specialist is responsible for receiving, processing, storing, retrieving, and shipping physical records and materials in a Records Center.
The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, physical strength, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess incoming, outgoing, and rush work orders.Scan and track cartons, files, tapes, containers, and storage locations.Retrieve and store files, containers, and tapes according to company deadlines.Investigate and report order or inventory discrepancies.Prepare orders, paperwork, and shipments accurately.Load and unload trucks and vans.Operate pick lifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.Maintain organized storage racks, work areas, and equipment.Perform inventory audits and special projects.Follow all safety, security, and company procedures.Report accidents, injuries, customer concerns, and operational issues to supervisors.Collaborate with team members and work overtime as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.1–2 years of warehouse, records, logistics, or service industry experience preferred.Basic computer and scanning skills.Forklift and/or pick-lift experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical RequirementsLift and move 20–50 pounds regularly.Handle approximately 100–400 containers per day.Perform frequent bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, and pulling.Stand and walk for extended periods.Climb stairs and safely operate material-handling equipment.
