Reconstructive Urologist

Carilion Clinic and Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (VTCSOM) are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified reconstructive urologist to join their expanding Section of Urology. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth of academic and clinical urological missions in Southwest Virginia, with the goal of establishing an independent department and a urology residency training program. The position is based primarily at Carilion Medical Center (CMC) in Roanoke, VA, a 700+ bed academic/tertiary referral center.

• The Section of Urology currently includes three fellowship-trained urologists (oncology, endourology, pediatrics), three general urologists, and advanced care practitioners.
• Based primarily at Carilion Medical Center (CMC) in Roanoke, VA, a 700+ bed academic/tertiary referral center with Level I trauma center.
• Physicians are employed through Carilion Clinic with academic appointments at VTCSOM.
• Carilion Clinic is a physician-led, community-based, integrated academic health system associated with VTCSOM, serving one million people with seven hospitals and 220+ physician practice locations.

Compensation

• Min Starting Salary: $497,384
• Max Starting Salary: $713,823

Requirements

• Board-eligible or board-certified reconstructive urologist
• Completion of a Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) formally recognized Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) fellowship is preferred but not required
