As a Reconditioning/Inventory Associate at CarMax, you’ll help prepare and manage vehicles to meet our high quality standards. In this hands-on role, you’ll support vehicle intake, inspection, basic cosmetic reconditioning, and lot organization. You’ll use company systems to track vehicle status, verify VINs, apply labels, and move vehicles safely around the lot.
Working closely with a collaborative team, you’ll ensure inventory is accurately documented, staged, and ready for sale, supporting our transparent, customer-focused buying experience while developing skills that can grow into service or operations careers.
