The position offers many opportunities for growth within the broader dealership operations. The receptionist works at the front desk in a customer-facing environment, using standard office equipment and technologies such as multi-line phones, computers, Microsoft Office, and Outlook. The schedule is part-time at approximately 25–30 hours per week, with regular evening and weekend hours. Typical shifts include Monday through Thursday from approximately 2:50 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (with Friday extending to about 9:00 p.m.), mandatory Saturday shifts either from 7:50 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and mandatory Sunday shifts twice per month, typically 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Initial training includes five daytime shifts (approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and three closing shifts alongside experienced staff to ensure comfort with front desk and closing procedures. The environment is professional, customer-focused, and retail-oriented, with a steady flow of visitors and phone calls. Attire is expected to be professional and appropriate for a front desk role in an automotive dealership setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, OR.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
