Per Diem ReceptionistBroderick St Adult Residential Facility is searching for a Per Diem Receptionist. The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant manages the front desk of a community-based residential care facility, and provides administrative support to Broderick St ARF staff and residents as needed by the program.Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to:Greets and assists staff members, visitors, and residentsAnswers multi-line telephone system and routes phone calls appropriatelyImmediate forwarding of all calls to the on-duty RN/LVN from any doctor/nurse/hospital; and forward calls to management/staff as appropriateRetrieves and forwards voicemail messages from general mailbox for staff; recording messages & announcements as needed/instructedAssists Nurse Manager with scheduling of resident appointments, and maintaining appointments on computer & transcribing to dry-erase boardReceive and distribute all mail and packages (in care of counselors as appropriate)Keep all sign-in sheet logs filled and organized; support in any other procedures at front desk (e.g. check temperature, symptom checks during COVID 19 SIP)Inventory & maintaining/filling of all office supplies and janitorial supplies; Inventory & checking out of medical/CNA supplies, as requested/neededSupport overall front office administrative needsManage cab vouchers and calling for cabs as requested/neededAssist with tidiness of reception & waiting areas, and organize magazines and newspapersOperate and maintain the copy machine, and assist staff with photocopying and faxingOrganize files, accurately file documents, and mailboxes, work areasOther duties as assignedMinimum Required Qualifications:Education: At least a High School diploma or GED equivalentAt least 1 year of administrative, reception &/or clerical experience in an office settingDemonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience working with current office methods & procedures, and business communications in EnglishFulfillment of TB Test, fingerprinting, First Aid, CPR, and any other mandatory State/Federal requirements upon hireOther Preferred Qualifications:Ability to work independently and establish priorities, ability to prioritize workflow within set of protocols and procedures, and ability to multi-taskKnowledge of & experience working with standard office equipment such as photocopier, fax machine, and printersDemonstrated knowledge/experience with MS Office including Word, Excel, google doc and google email.
