ReceptionistThe Receptionist operates telephone systems, answers incoming calls, directs callers to appropriate personnel, and performs assigned clerical duties.Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or departmentTakes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailableGreets on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnelMonitors visitor access and issues passes when requiredReceives sorts, enters, and routes mailReceives, signs for, and distributes package deliveriesMaintains conference room schedule, as assignedOversees the distribution of parking passes, company cars, and credit cardsReceives payments, makes change, and issues receiptsRecords amounts received and prepare reports of transactions, as requiredPerforms other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, data entry, and miscellaneous typingComplete all required training applicable to this positionRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this positionOther duties, as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED).6 months relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Must type a minimum of 30 words per minute with accuracy.Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.Knowledge of office practices and procedures; computer operation; and word processing software; ability to interact appropriately with clients, visitors, and other external firm customers.Basic mathematical knowledge.Attention to detail and accuracy.Compensation and Benefits:The expected pay for this position is $19.48/hr.Paid Time Off (PTO) - 16 days annually + 9 Company paid holidaysCompetitive benefits - Medical, Rx, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Parental Leave, Life and Disability Insurance and more.
