This all starts with our greatest asset…our employees.As a Receptionist and Communications Admin, you will answer incoming calls through a computer based switchboard for the corporate office of a 30+ location private company. Your work station will be located in the lobby, so you will act as the first impression representing the company as visitors, vendors, and customers enter the corporate office.

You must be able to multi-task while taking incoming calls to assume other administrative duties, such as assisting with employee communications, drafting posters and graphics for internal websites, daily sorting of incoming US mail, maintaining company phone directory, etc.This is an in-person position. Hours are Mon-Fri, 8 – 5.Primary responsibilities include:Answer calls with professionalism and utilize customer service skills to quickly and politely query calls in order to determine appropriate department and personnel to whom calls should be forwarded.Answer questions about the company's different divisions and locations in a prompt and pleasant manner.Manage employee communications by updating SharePoint, drafting employee emails, creating and writing eNewsletter, creating and writing flyers, posters, etc.Support the HR department with various administrative duties.Additional responsibilities include:Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.Additional duties as assigned by manager.To be successful in this position you should have prior receptionist and/or employee communications experience. Excellent analytical, organization and communication skills are also required.Education/experience:Reception experience preferredHigh school diploma required.Background in graphic arts or communications preferred.Required qualifications/skills:Must have strong work ethicMust be well organized and a self-starterDetail orientated, professional attitude, reliablePossess organizational and time management skillsProblem solving skills, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, and multi-taskingAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingAbility to interact with employees, customers, and vendors in a professional mannerAt Yancey Bros.
