Real Estate Office Administrative AssistantAn established real estate company in Johnson County is seeking an energetic and dependable Office Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of its Keene office.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with property owners, tenants, vendors, clients, and visitors. An active Texas real estate sales agent license is preferred. The successful candidate may also have opportunities to conduct real estate business on evenings and weekends and earn commissions under the company's commission structure.Primary ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming calls and general email inquiries and direct them appropriatelyCommunicate with property owners, tenants, and maintenance personnelDocument maintenance requests and coordinate needed repairsSchedule meetings, appointments, and property-related activitiesMaintain organized electronic and paper filesOrder and organize office suppliesWelcome visitors and provide professional front-office assistanceAssist company leadership with correspondence, travel arrangements, expense reports, and other administrative needsProvide rotating telephone coverage every other weekend for property-related emergencies and coordinate the appropriate responseIf properly licensed and sponsored, assist clients with real estate transactions and pursue commission-based sales opportunitiesMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong organizational, communication, and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced officeProfessional, positive, and service-oriented attitudeStrong problem-solving skills and sound judgmentProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointFamiliarity with standard office equipmentAbility to provide rotating weekend telephone coverageWillingness and ability to obtain a Texas real estate sales agent license within six months of employmentCompletion of a comprehensive background and reference verification requiredPreferred QualificationsActive Texas real estate sales agent licenseOne to two years of experience as an administrative assistant, receptionist, or office coordinatorPrevious experience in real estate, property management, leasing, or a related fieldInterest in conducting real estate business during evenings or weekendsExperience working directly with property owners, tenants, clients, contractors, or maintenance vendorsCompensation OpportunityThe position provides base compensation for administrative responsibilities.
