Receiving Clamp / Slip Sheet Operator - 1st Shift
Location: Aurora, IL Shift: 1st Shift (Start Time: 8:00 AM) Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
PROMAN Staffing is currently seeking experienced Receiving Clamp / Slip Sheet Operators for a warehouse facility in Aurora, IL. This position combines forklift operation with general warehouse duties to support receiving and inventory operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate Clamp Truck and/or Slip Sheet Forklift to support receiving operations
- Sort and organize incoming orders and products
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and process shipments
- Perform put-aways and stage products in designated warehouse locations
- Assist with loading, unloading, and material movement throughout the facility
- Complete general labor and warehouse tasks as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Support other departmental duties as assigned based on workload demands
Note: Depending on operational needs, associates will not be on the forklift for the entire shift. This role requires a combination of forklift operation and general warehouse work.
Requirements
- Previous Clamp Truck and/or Slip Sheet forklift experience required
- Experience using RF scanners preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
- Comfortable performing physical warehouse duties throughout the shift
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to safety and accuracy
- Must be flexible with schedule changes and overtime requirements
Overtime Requirements
- Candidates must be available to work overtime as needed
- After successfully completing two weeks of training, associates will be subject to mandatory overtime
- Additional overtime and schedule adjustments may be required at the end of each month based on business needs and workload
