M-F 7:30am to 4:00pm $21HR
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the receiving team to support inbound receiving activities from receipt through inventory placement.
- Inspect and verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and system records.
- Process receipts accurately in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, including shortages, overages, damage, labeling issues, and documentation errors.
- Coordinate with purchasing, inventory control, carriers, and vendors to resolve receiving issues quickly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through timely transactions, proper labeling, and correct product placement.
- Use RF scanners, computers, and warehouse software to process inventory efficiently.
- Monitor receiving workflows and recommend improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform inventory audits and cycle counts to support inventory integrity.
- Maintain complete receiving documentation and comply with company, GMP, safety, and client requirements.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and safe.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 3+ years of warehouse receiving experience in distribution, manufacturing, or logistics strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inbound receiving, inventory control, and discrepancy resolution.
- Experience with WMS, ERP systems, RF scanners, and warehouse technology.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry.
- Ability to analyze information, troubleshoot issues, and solve problems independently.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
